This intimate evening will explore the history, evolution and future of one of Napa Valley’s most iconic estates through two vintages of Opus One and two vintages of Overture.
Opus One was born from one of the most important partnerships in the history of American wine.
In the late 1970s, Baron Philippe de Rothschild of Château Mouton Rothschild and Robert Mondavi came together with an ambitious vision: to create a great Napa Valley wine combining the heritage, discipline and refinement of Bordeaux with the extraordinary potential of California.
That vision became Opus One.
From the beginning, the estate was built around meticulous vineyard work, precision in the cellar, uncompromising selection and a commitment to producing wines of elegance, structure and longevity.
Today, Opus One remains one of the most recognizable and collectible wines in Napa Valley.
For serious collectors, 2013 needs little introduction.
It was one of the defining Napa Valley vintages of the decade, producing wines with remarkable concentration, structure, balance and aging potential.
More than a decade later, Opus One 2013 offers the opportunity to experience what a great Napa vintage becomes with time: deeper integration, layered complexity, refined tannins and extraordinary harmony.
It will serve as the benchmark for the evening.
The central focus of the masterclass will be the new Opus One 2023.

The evening will also feature Overture 2023 and Overture 2021, giving guests another perspective on the vineyards and philosophy of the estate.
