Description
Deep ruby red frizzante that comes from the town of the same name on the Sorrentino Peninsula outside of Naples. Drunk young and served chilled, Gragnano has a touch of sweetness and a slight effervescence that cuts the fattiness of cheese and oil.
Unlike in North America, in Italy, the Italians typically pair pizza with beer or coca cola. There is one exception, the Neapolitans who reside in the pizza capital of the world and surrounding areas pair their pizza with this wine and its sister wine Lettere. It is an ideal match! It also pairs well with roasts, nuts, sweet snacks, mozzarella cheeses (we love it with melted cheeses)
Cantine Federiciane is the result of four generations of work, dedication and experience accumulated and transmitted over time. A journey that began from the first of these generations and born from a passion for carefully tending to and rediscovering their beautiful terroir and retracing its history through viticulture and winemaking. It is this dream that unites the generations through time and continues the legacy. The winery is now run by the fourth generation of the Palumbo family, three brothers: Antonio, Marco and Luca.
