Description
Big, and bold but balanced, the Oak immediately shines through on the nose, with loads of roasty toasty barrel notes and cocoa powder immediately present. The fruit then shines through smooth, ripe and lush, with a pretty core of herb-accented plum and cherry flavors– classic Paso Robles character.
During the warm days and cool nights in California’s high elevation coastal vineyards, our grapes slowly build the ripeness and refreshing acidity essential to beautifully balanced wine. As the night harvested grapes are picked by hand, our vineyard workers often get to witness the magic of shooting stars in the dark sky overhead.
