Follow the Russian River as it flows to the birthplace of our Pine Mountain Love Hammer Cabernet Sauvignon. This 2020 vintage breaks through the early morning fog to reveal all the captivating qualities that made us fall in love with a high elevation Alexander Valley AVA. Its nose: flaunting aromas of vanilla, black pepper, green olive and cherry pipe tobacco. Its palate: dripping with flavors of rich dark cherry and ripe blackberry, and finishing with notes of cigar spice and baking chocolate. Rugged yet voluptuous, this wine goes great with brief yet passionate affairs.
With a story so rich and expansive, it’s far better to watch our video to get a sense of who we are and how we are wildly different from anyone else in the wine industry. But basically, in a nutshell, I started slo down wines in 2008 with 93 cases of sexual chocolate. Never could I imagine that I would be here telling you this story 7 years later with a wine that has blown up across the country and has also allowed me to release two new wines – broken dreams chardonnay and stand out cabernet/merlot blend.
