Description
After a career in wine consulting, Guido Guardigli retired in 2000 and bought Perticaia, an estate not far from Montefalco in Casale. The gape that makes this region famous is Sagrantino, and Guardigli grows some of the absolute best. This wine is meant to be a young-drinking expression of how wonderful and complex Sagrantino wines can be, without having to lay it down for a few years before it’s ready. Fresh and vinous with the aroma of wild berries, raspberries, and blueberries.
