Description
This crémant possesses a brilliant gold color. The bubbles are fine and pleasant in the mouth. The nose marries fresh aromas of acacia, green apple and white peach with buttery and nutty notes, due to its particularly long aging. It’s a gastronomic wine: round and very complex in the mouth.
The “Crémant de Bourgogne A.O.C” was created in 1975 and covers the entire Burgundy wine region, from Chablis to the gates of Lyon. Crémants are produced using the traditional method: the still wine is bottled with yeasts and sugar, so as to go through a secondary fermentation. Trénel’s Crémant de Bourgogne originates in the Côte Chalonnaise, from clay-limestone soils, perfect for the production of Chardonnay.
Created in 1928 by Henri Claudius Trénel and became a local reference with his son André, Maison Trenel remains a familial authentic company. A philosophy shared by the famous family Maison M. CHAPOUTIER, with whom we collaborate today. Our Maison has been established in the heart of the South Burgundy wine region for more than 80 years. Thanks to strong relationships built over generations with the best winegrowers in the area, we’re able to obtain the essence of Gamay and Chardonnay. Facing the Rock of Solutré, in the most southern part of Burgundy or in Beaujolais, we create elegant and refined wines, representative of their appellation. Of countless treasures.
